Weighted Calf Raise
It can be hard to isolate the calf muscles, but this simple movement is guaranteed to help you do it and start toning up your lower legs. Stand straight with a neutral back and hips, holding weights by your side. Raise to your toes while flexing calves and squeezing glute muscles. For an extra challenge, try this movement with weights in each hand or standing on a small ledge for a greater range of motion.
