Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2026

Our Privacy Promise to You

At Group HIIT, protecting your private information is our priority. We deeply value your trust. Our privacy philosophy is simple: your data belongs to you, and we only collect what is necessary to provide you with an excellent workout experience. We do not, and will never, sell your personal information to third parties.Β

This Statement of Privacy applies to www.grouphiit.com, the Group HIIT iOS App, and any channels or other media through which Group HIIT offers and delivers fitness videos or other content, and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Group HIIT include www.grouphiit.com and the Group HIIT app. Group HIIT is an online fitness company with free workouts and paid memberships. By using the Group HIIT website or app, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered on our Site and App, Group HIIT may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide, such as your:

  • First and Last Name
  • Mailing Address
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Location (City, State or Country if provided by you)
  • Profile Photos (if uploaded to your account)

If you purchase Group HIIT's products and services, billing and credit card information is collected to complete the purchase transaction. However, this information is stored securely with our third-party payment providers or app platforms. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your full credit card numbers.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest; (c) signing up for special offers; (d) sending us an email; (e) submitting payment information when purchasing products and services. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us.

Automatically Collected Device Information To provide seamless customer support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure our app functions correctly, we automatically collect certain technical data when you use the Group HIIT app or website. This includes your IP address, your device type and operating system version (e.g., your specific iPhone model and iOS version), and device identifiers (such as Apple’s Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) and Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)). We use this information strictly to maintain the quality of our service, assist you in our customer support center, and analyze app performance.

Service Providers & How We Process Your Data

To operate our website and app securely and efficiently, we partner with industry-leading service providers. These partners are strictly bound by privacy agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes:

  • Clerk: We use Clerk to securely manage your account creation, authentication, and profile information (including profile photos).
  • Stripe: We use Stripe as our secure payment gateway. When you make a direct purchase, Stripe securely processes and stores your credit card details.
  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage our subscriptions and track in-app purchases across platforms. RevenueCat tracks your subscription status and processes certain device data (like your IP address, device version, and device identifiers) to help our customer center troubleshoot your account and restore purchases. RevenueCat does not process your direct credit card details.
  • Shopify & Integrated Apps: We use Shopify to host our online e-commerce platform and Shopify Email to manage our email communications. To enhance your store experience, we also utilize trusted third-party apps integrated directly into our Shopify environment. When necessary to fulfill your order, these app providers may be granted secure access to specific information. They are strictly bound by Shopify's data protection agreements.
  • Print-on-Demand Partners (e.g., Printify): If you purchase physical merchandise from our store, we partner with third-party print-on-demand services. We share only the necessary information (such as your name, shipping address, and order details) with these partners so they can manufacture and ship your items directly to you.
  • QuickBooks: We use QuickBooks for our internal accounting and financial record-keeping, which involves securely processing aggregated transaction data and limited historical payment records.
  • Cloud Hosting and Database Providers: We utilize secure, industry-leading cloud infrastructure providers (such as Amazon Web Services) to host our backend systems, securely manage our databases, and monitor app performance to ensure a smooth, secure, and reliable experience.
  • Video Hosting and Ad Serving: We use JW Player to host and deliver our video content smoothly to your device. We also utilize Google Ad Manager to serve advertisements alongside our videos. These providers may collect basic technical data (such as your IP address or device type) to ensure videos play correctly and to deliver ads.

Video Tracking, App Analytics, and Connected Devices

We are constantly working to make the Group HIIT experience better for you. To do this, we collect specific data about how you interact with our app and website:

  • Video Playback Data: To help you pick up right where you left off and to improve our content offerings, we track your video viewing history. This includes which workouts you watch, how long you watch them, and your playback progress. We use this data exclusively to personalize your experience.
  • Future Device Integrations: In the future, we may offer the ability to connect your account to external fitness trackers or health applications. If you choose to enable these features, we may collect workout metrics directly from those devices. Connecting a device will always be completely optional and require your explicit, opt-in consent.

Our Promise: Your fitness journey is highly personal. We do not, and will never, sell your video viewing history, workout data, or connected device metrics to any third parties.

Corporate, Employer, and Group Accounts

If you access Group HIIT through a corporate wellness program, employer sponsorship, or other group account, we may share certain engagement metrics with the employer or group administrator who provides your access. To protect your privacy, we strictly limit what is shared:

  • Individual Reporting: We only share high-level engagement data tied to your name, such as the total number of workouts you have completed and your total minutes exercised. We do not share the specific titles or categories of the videos you watch with your group administrator unless we explicitly ask for and receive your consent to do so.
  • Aggregate Reporting: We may share fully anonymized, aggregated data with your group administrator (such as total company-wide workout minutes or most popular videos overall) to help them understand group engagement.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

Group HIIT does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. Group HIIT may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Group HIIT. Group HIIT may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or protect the safety of users or the public.

Cookies, Tracking, and Third-Party Integrations

Group HIIT uses "cookies" and similar tracking technologies to help personalize your online experience and save you time. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies through your browser settings.

  • Spotify Playlists & SoundCloud: We feature embedded Spotify playlists and SoundCloud players. Interacting with these players may allow Spotify or SoundCloud to place their own cookies on your device or collect data about your listening habits in accordance with their own Privacy Policies.
  • Active Analytics and Advertising: We currently use Google Analytics (GA4) and Amplitude Analytics to understand user behavior, analyze trends, and improve our app and website. We also use Google Ads for marketing.
  • Future Marketing Tools: We strongly value your privacy. While we reserve the right to use other social media marketing pixels (such as the Facebook Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag) in the future to deliver customized content, we are not currently using these tools, nor are we feeding your data to these platforms. You can opt-out of many targeted advertising programs at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
  • Video Advertising: Because we use Google Ad Manager and JW Player to deliver videos and serve ads, these platforms may use their own cookies or tracking technologies to measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and serve advertisements that may be relevant to you.

Data Retention and Your Right to Deletion

Because many of our users take breaks and return to their fitness journeys later, we retain your account information even if you cancel your subscription, making it easy for you to come back. We will keep your data securely until you request that we delete it.

You may request to delete your account and personal data at any time by visiting: https://www.grouphiit.com/pages/delete-account or by using the account deletion feature directly within our iOS app.

Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, or comply with a legal obligation.

Security of your Personal Information

Group HIIT secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure using SSL Protocol and encryption. While we strive to take appropriate security measures to protect your data, you acknowledge that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Children's Privacy (Under 13 / Under 16)

Group HIIT's services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain global jurisdictions like the EU) without verified parental consent. If you are under the required age, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. If we become aware that a child has submitted Personal Information without parental consent, we will delete the account and the data.

Disconnecting your Group HIIT Account from Third-Party Websites

You may be able to connect your Group HIIT account to third-party accounts (like Google or Apple login). You may disconnect your account from a third-party account at any time by adjusting your login settings or contacting us.

Group HIIT reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes by sending a notice to your primary email address, placing a prominent notice on our site, or updating this page.
