This was my second time doing this workout and I am in better shape than I was in December when I wrote my first review. So that's exciting. Still challenging but definitely doable without extra breaks. (Maybe I took a few extra seconds to put some bread in the oven, then rotate the pan 15 min later!) Just a little anecdote that might motivate someone at the beginning of their fitness training (and maybe make some of you laugh too): I work in the medical profession and I see a lot of bodies. Because of my specialty I see many young women. I recently noticed that I am in much better shape than many women half my age who haven't had kids (I've had 3). It was really a revelation, like wow, how do I look better ***** than a 25 year old? The answer is: muscle definition and better posture. I don't work out for long but I am consistent and I do everything with good form. (Not bragging, just putting it out there for any beginners who think getting in shape is an insurmountable task. It takes time, years really, to get in tip top shape.)
My nine-year-old son did this entire workout with me. Smiling at the end, his review "I feel like a noodle." For myself, great workout! But gotta work on my star jumps.
It wasn't. I'm breathless and sweaty. I liked that there were moves that we don't always see like the lateral plank walk and star jump (a killer).
